Carolyn Spring is Director of PODS and developed dissociative identity disorder (DID) as a result of organised abuse in childhood. After studying at Cambridge University, she worked for a number of years in Children's Social Care supporting at-risk families and caring for children who had suffered abuse and neglect. She also has a background in business, having been involved in running small businesses for a number of years, with experience in marketing, website design, IT and training. She delivers all of the training for PODS as well as editing the magazine Multiple Parts.

Carolyn is also author of Recovery is my best revenge: my experience of trauma, abuse and dissociation.

 

ANDY STEPHENS

Andy trained as a Personnel Administrator in the RAF and completed ten years' service including overseas tours in Belize and Saudi Arabia. He then worked for three years as Office Manager for an international laser and optics manufacturer before spending the next seven years heading up marketing communications for European operations. In 2003 he began work for Huntingdonshire Community Church and Plumbline Ministries as Finance and Admin Manager.

Andy also has extensive involvement in other charities including managing the St Barnabas Furniture Project, being a Trustee for Huntingdon Area Money Advice and being Chair of Huntingdon and Godmanchester Town Chaplaincy. 

 

ELISABETH ALLAN

Client Services Manager

Elisabeth is a qualified counsellor and supervisor working both with individuals and couples. She is a registered member of the BACP and has a number of years' counselling experience working for MIND. Previous to that, she worked in a primary school with children on the autistic spectrum as well as on a project with teenage girls in Cambridgeshire.  Elisabeth heads up the Client Support Service, supporting both survivors and therapists, runs the PODS helpline, and also manages START Counselling.
